Chill, decent drinks, and open late. I'd go again if I'm i the area for some nice lowlight atmosphere.
Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at at an establishment. I was there Sunday night on 10/5/23 and around 10/11 pm and this place is an absolute joke.
The imitation of a bartender took forever to tend to our order when there was less than 10 people in the venue.
He proceeds to take my order with an attitude, and come to find out I was auto gratuitied for 3 topo chicos. Which is cool fine. But when I checked my account today, come to find out the same bartended had the audacity to tip himself $5 on top of the auto gratuity and the terrible service.
The only reason I am writing this review is to make sure you keep your receipts, in case you need to file a dispute with your bank, because apparently the bartenders feel the need to write in their own tips in for a service that wasn’t even provided.
I will be sure to tell all my clients and friends to not attend this establishment, where there is for sure some shady stuff going on.
Security guard was cool tho.
The bartender ( if you can call him that) was an absolute joke, if you all need some new recommendations I’d be happy to help!
Staff wasn't engaging with customers. Scene is pretty cool though. Drinks were great.
Came on a very late night, not sure if this is Ryan in the photo but..
I was trying to wave down a bartender and this guy came at me yelling about how to not put my hands in his face and that if I wanna do that I can leave… embarrassing me in front of everyone.
Then for the next 10-15 mins he continued to ignore my initial request for a drink. Other people were raising their hands to flag him down yet he was taking them? Idk what I did wrong but I took the time to apologize to him about what I did, yet he still got upset and ignored my request until finally he got me a drink.
I didn’t tip because I felt like I took the initiative to apologize about disrespecting him, yet he didn’t want to hear it. His own words; “don’t even bring it up”.
Several people around me noticed my actions and agreed I took the necessary steps to dissolve the situation. I think Ryan was having a bad night.
I usually go to higher end bars ( Cindy’s Rooftop ) and tip generously, however this experience with Ryan deserved less than a tip, others agreed.

The type of Logan Square hipster bar where you have to put up with an unhappy, bald, poorly-tattooed, angry, middle-aged bartender.
Quite literally you have the most frustrating hipster character in all of Chicago as your bartender. I felt disrespected and I truly despise the superior attitude of the loser staff.
You’ll probably end up here anyway late night and have to deal with DIVA bartenders with too many tattoos and too many piercings (LOSERS) …. Just do yourself a favor a SKIP this bar!

I went as part of a bar crawl for my sis-in-law’s birthday. We arrived around 1am & it was packed! Super chill, mixed crowd of all ages. Drinks were decent & music was good for sure.
It doesn’t look that big from the outside, but you’d be surprised how far back it actually goes. Fun place to go with friends and have a good time.
Definitely stopping by again.
The owl rules. Best late night spot in Logan with super friendly bartenders.
The Owl is a great spot to have a drink and a no-fuss, no-TV experience.
Harrison was tending bar the last time I was there and he rocks! I'd easily …
Ah the Owl. Destined to have the worst music on Milwaukee Ave, all night, every night, with the exception of 2 solid hours every 3 months. Love ya baby
Honestly I grew up in Logan square, I use to love the owl but now it’s a ticking time bomb. The workers steal so don’t leave anything on the tables. Went there last night fight broke out instead of the bouncers defusing the situation they …
